There's virtually no pain and I was amazed with perfect sight the very day of the surgery. I just had it yesterday and I already have between 20/15 and 20/10 vision! "I was definitely on the upper tier of patient anxiety about getting Lasik done and I don't think anyone on Dr. Sander's staff would argue that. I don't like anyone even going near my eyes and would not have considered Lasik had I not developed GPC- a condition where your eyes become allergic to contacts. I'm 25 and could not even see that there was a letter on the screenwhen Dr. Sanders put up the big E in the exam room. I didn't want to be stuck in super thick glasses forever, so after gearing myself up and calling Marcus about 5 times to ask him question after question and him patiently answering I booked my appointment.
I was pretty much having a panic attack the day of the procedure, but Dr. Sanders and his staff were very understanding and patient with me. I woke up the next day to 20/15 vision. Now I wish I would have done it sooner! If you are nervous about Lasik, do yourself a favor and meet with Dr. Sanders and his staff. They are great at calming your nerves and making you feel as comfortable as possible through it all. "
